7 pieces of metal cut into 14 different pieces of metal, carefully. Much filing and deburring. Tomorrow my progress is rewarded with cleco’ing and drilling!

Endless Rudder Stiffeners
Just looking at this page of the plans filled me with excitement:
I’m sure it’s far from the most tedious thing on the plane, but doing endless nearly-identical bits isn’t the most fascinating thing. But, it’s got to get done, and there’s an airplane at the end of the tunnel. A little over 2 hours, and I got 2.5 of them done:
